SMART Pen Tray
SMART Board uses optical sensors that can immediately detect when something is selected, and buttons can activate the on-screen keyboard, and the right-mouse click. Four electronic pens and an eraser come with the SMART Board, though you don't necessarily need them to work on the board. It's also quite easy to activate the "orientation procedure" for the board- just hold down the space bar and right-mouse click at the same time.

OptiPro Surface
An optional screen surface is available, should you be using a high-lumen projector, and is not for use with dry-erase markers. This screen is available at no extra charge.

Projected and Non-projected Modes
You can use a projector to display things and interact with the computer materials, or you can put it in a non-projected mode to save some dry-erase marker notes to your computer.
